Art. 19 in the Spanish Private Security Act(23/1992 of July 30) empowers private investigators to "...obtain and contribute information and evidence on conduct, private action and crime that is punishable by Penal Law and by motion of the party".
Any such information can be retrieved from digital supports and used in legal action against the offender.
